WellStat Therapeutics receives Food and Drug Administration approval for drug to treat chemo overdose – Washington Business Journal

Gaithersburg-based biotech WellStat Therapeutics Corp. received Food and Drug Administration approval for Vistogard, an emergency treatment for an overdose of certain chemotherapy drugs, it was announced Friday.

It is the second FDA approval the company has received for one of its drugs this fall.
