The 2014 International Biotech Summit Committee invite BioHealth Innovation (BHI) and Montgomery County to attend the three co-located international conferences that will be held on Sep 9 -12 in Shenzhen, China:
- 2014 International Biotech Summit (September 10, 2014);
- The 9th International Conference on Genomics (ICG-9) (September 11th-12th, 2014);
- Shenzhen International Biotech & Health Industry Expo 2014 (SIBHIE, September 10th-12th, 2014).
Ms. Lily Qi, Director of Special Projects for Montgomery County Executive Office who was involved in establishing BHI and a native of Shanghai, is going to speak on behalf of the County and BHI for the forum, “Innovation in Policy and Regulation for Advancing Healthcare Industry.” BHI and the County are also invited as an exhibitor for the SIBHIE Expo.
This Biotech Summit is to focus on the theme “The Future of the Biotechnology Era”. Its goal is to provide a platform of open communication and stimulate the advancement of the life sciences industry. It will provide valuable connection, market information, and insights on the future of biotechnology and bio-industry in the global market. It also aims to cultivate communications and forge partnerships within the large group of attendees, including leaders from biotech companies, research organizations, academic institutions, as well as investors, policy makers, journalists, editors, and business representatives.
ICG is an annual conference organized by Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI). It aims at gathering leaders, researchers and professionals in genomics sciences on human health, animal and plant science, agriculture and other related fields, to share thoughts and implications on the latest developments in the world of genomics. SIBHIE is one of the largest and most influential events in the region with a focus on promoting academic communication, development of new businesses, and industrialization of global biotechnology research and translation.
